Hairspray Miami Gardens Theatre reviews
Amazing Performance
Overall, the night was so much fun! The lines to get in were moving quickly. It was somewhat confusing to find our seats in the balcony, as not many employees seemed to be nearby to show the way. The performance was SO SO SO well done! Their voices were all incredible. The only thing that personally took away from our experience in the balcony section, was the amount of seemingly drunk, very loud people who found it appropriate to cheer & yell loudly in the middle of songs, over & over, & to also get up & move about at least 10 times. That is what the end of a song is for. That is what intermission is for. There was no etiquette here, as there is on Broadway in NYC. With that being said, it was still beautiful to watch these talented individuals perform after years off. Thank you, Hairspray & SDCC!
